 How to Finish Applying

1. Create a 'Be a Warrior' Account

Create an account now!

As part of the application process, you must create a 'Be a Warrior' account. You can use this account to upload admission documents, track your admission documents, register for events, and receive information about LCSC.

2. Submit Test Scores

Academic students should submit either an ACT or SAT score.

Official scores for the SAT (code: 0920) or ACT (code: 0429) are sent directly from the Collegeboard (SAT) or ACT website.

Career and Technical Students can submit ACT or SAT scores or can take the LCSC Placement Exams.

Take a look at our Placement Test Flowchart to see which test you should take.

3. Submit Official Transcripts

Ask your high school to send your official transcript to the LCSC Admissions Office.

A 6th semester transcript can be submitted to be tentatively admitted, and 7th semester transcript is required for scholarship purposes.

If you enrolled in any college courses while in high school, those transcripts must be submitted as well.

Official transcripts must arrive in a sealed envelope or in official electronic format from the issuing institution to be valid. Photocopies of records are not official.

4. Submit your SSN for Financial Aid

In order to be eligible for financial aid, please submit your Social Security number on your 'Be a Warrior' account.

Frequently Asked Questions

I already applied through the Apply Idaho application. Do I still have to apply?

If you completed the Apply Idaho application, you do not have to submit an application through LCSC. You will, however, still need to submit your transcripts, test scores, and SSN. If you did not complete the Apply Idaho application, you can either complete the Apply Idaho application or complete an application through LCSC by clicking here.

I submitted everything, now what?

You will receive your official acceptance letter from LCSC via mail once we receive all admission documents from you. Normally, this process takes about one to two weeks but can take up to four weeks depending on the volume of applications that are being received at that time. In the meantime, check out our Financial Aid and Residence Life websites for more information on financial aid and housing options.

What happens if I miss the February 16th application deadline?

This is the deadline the Idaho State Board of Education has declared. Our deadline for all admissions materials for the Fall semester is August 8th. Therefore, if you submit application materials after the February 16th deadline, your application will be evaluated based on our normal Admission Standards, alongside all other applications we receive.

How was I already "pre-accepted?"

An Idaho State Board of Education-approved benchmark GPA and college entrance exam score determined your admission eligibility. To learn more about this process, click here.

To check out details of our Admission Standards, click here. Notice that the standards vary for academic degree-seeking applicants and career and technical education degree-seeking applicants.

Where do I find scholarships and other financial aid information?

All financial aid forms and applications can be accessed through the Financial Aid website. We highly recommend submitting a General Scholarship application. You will also want to submit your FASFA (FASFA school code: 001621), which will determine your eligibility for federal and state aid. You should submit all financial aid forms and applications by our March 1st priority deadline for priority consideration.

Have questions about financial aid? Visit our Financial Aid FAQ website.

For more information regarding the specific types of financial aid available to you, please contact the Financial Aid office at finaid@lcsc.edu or (208) 792-2224.

Do I have to live on-campus? What about off-campus options?

As a freshman, you are not required to live on-campus, so choose what will work best for you! On-campus housing and assignments are based on the date deposits are received. Once on-campus housing is full, students can continue to apply and be placed on a waitlist. Visit the Residence Life website to learn about on-campus and some off-campus options.

If you have questions about housing, please contact Residence Life at reslife@lcsc.edu or (208) 792-2053.

How do I register for classes?

All new LC students attend STAR (Student Advising and Registration) to select first semester classes. Once admitted, you will register to attend a STAR session. STAR provides information about financial aid, payments, what to expect from college, and how to register. STAR provides new students with an opportunity to ask questions about programs and career goals.

If you are not sure if you are admitted, contact the Admissions Office at admissions@lcsc.edu or (208) 792-2210 or (208) 792-2378. If you have been admitted, but have not received your STAR email, please contact Career & Advising Services at (208) 792-2313.

How to Register:

  1. Be certain that you have all holds cleared. Students with holds (Library, Security, etc.) will not be allowed to register.
  2. Meet with your academic advisor. Once you have been advised, your advisor will ‘release’ an electronic hold that will allow you to access Web registration.
  3. Log on to WarriorWeb and complete the Conditions of Registration.
  4. Access Student Planning in WarriorWeb.

If you experience technical difficulty (logins, passwords, etc.) contact the Helpdesk at (208) 792-2231. If you have concerns regarding content (credits, courses, etc.), contact the Registrar and Records Office at registrar@lcsc.edu or (208) 792-2223.

I have some questions that are very specific to me and my application. Who should I reach out to?

If you have questions that are specific to you and your application to LCSC, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@lcsc.edu or (208) 792-2210 or (208) 792-2378 or directly from Meet the Admissions Specialists page.
