Transfer Equivalency Guides How do my credits transfer?

Where are you transferring from?

If you are transferring from a regionally accredited institution, LCSC will accept your credits. To help you take the guess work out of transferring, LCSC has created transfer guides to help you.

Simply find the school you are transferring from, select 'Equivalency Search' and you will see how your courses equate.  If you do not find the course your are looking for listed, then that course will transfer as an elective. Any courses brought in as electives are subject to change once you meet with your advisor.

 Are you a Nursing student?

The LCSC Nursing & Health Sciences Division has created special transfer guides for students who are transferring from local/regional institutions.

Are you an International student?

Students transferring to LCSC from international colleges can review specific transfer guides from those institutions.

LC Express

LC Express is a 2+2 program for transfer students who will declare specific majors in the Business, Humanities, Natural Science and Mathematics, and Social Sciences Divisions. It is available to students at specific community colleges.

Do you have a degree already?

With any academic bachelor degree from a regionally accredited institution, your lower general education core will be coded complete; any academic associate degree, under the same circumstances, could be coded complete as well.
