ESL and College Applicant Admission Requirements

“I feel very welcome at LCSC. We can share our culture with the community at the International Dinner.”
Aminata – Mali

Q: What kinds of students attend LCSC and IIE?
A: The average age of our students is 22 years. We have students on our campus from 30 different countries. Some are studying English in preparation to enter LCSC or to learn more about the American culture and language. Others are enrolled in academic or technical programs.

For more information visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Students whose English skills are not high enough to enter the college directly can be admitted to the college if they apply to both LCSC and IIE. When they have met one of the language requirements listed below, they may register for college classes the following semester.

Part-time students can accumulate up to 20 semester credits before they become full-time students.
