Q: Does your college offer scholarships to international students?
A: LCSC offers a limited number of scholarships to international applicants
who have good academic records. These Presidential Scholarships are available
only to new LCSC applicants who plan to enroll in a college program. If an IIE
student receives a scholarship, it will begin when the student enters a college
program.

The Presidential Scholarship may reduce the cost of fees by $3,000 to $5,000 per year. It is
renewable for up to 4 years of consecutive attendance towards a Bachelor’s degree or up to 2 years
towards an Associate’s degree. The student must maintain a 2.5 semester grade point average, complete
12 credits per semester, and register in advance each semester.
Applicants must have a high school or transfer grade point average of at least 3.0 (4.0 scale) to
receive first consideration. Priority is given to newly admitted applicants who have not received
a prior Bachelor’s degree, and who apply before the deadline.
Competition for these awards is high. A completed application should be on file by March 1 for
applicants who wish to be considered for a scholarship for Fall Semester. A completed application
should be on file by November 1 for applicants who wish to be considered for a scholarship for Spring
Semester. Further information about Presidential Scholarships is available here.
