APPLYING FOR
ADMISSION
Note: If you
are transferring less than 14 transferable
semester credits, you will be
evaluated as a
freshman. Your college transcripts
will not be ignored.
Submit the following to
the Office of Admission:

Application for Admission and
non-refundable application fee.
-
Official
transcript* from each college or university
attended. If you are currently attending
another college, you may receive a tentative
admission decision by submitting an in-progress
transcript of your work to date. (Transfer
students with 14 or more transferable semester
credits do not need to submit high school/GED
transcripts.)

Professional-Technical applicants
must submit
Official Compass, ACT or SAT results
posted on your high school transcript or
received directly from the testing agency if
they are not transferring English composition
and math. The
ACT writing test is not required.
Note: Placement in
a specific Professional-Technical program is
based on the availability of space in the
program and placement requirements established
by the technical program (Business Technology
and Service programs do not have specific
requirements.)
*Official transcripts must
arrive in Admissions in a sealed
envelope or faxed as official from the issuing
institution. Photocopies of records are not
official. Official transcripts faxed in
support of an application must be faxed directly to the Office
of Admission/Registrar,
(208) 792-2876, by the issuing institution. To be official, a faxed transcript
to LCSC must include a cover sheet with current
date, name of institution, sender’s name, fax and
telephone number, student’s name, date of birth, a
transcript explanation key and a notation from the
sending institution that the transcript is official.
All
documents submitted in support of an application become the property
of LCSC and cannot be copied, returned or
forwarded.
