Advanced Opportunities is a national and state effort emphazing collaboration between technical colleges and regional high schools. Students have the opportunity to earn college credit and gain a high level of technical career skills needed for an easy transition into a technical education program then onto a high wage, high demand career! 

 How do we help you? We help you channel what you have learned in your high school CTE classes into an appropriate technical college program. We work with all state technical colleges to ensure the best opportunities are available to all students in Region II. Visit the Schools page and click on your high school to see if CTE credit is available at your school.

What do Technical Competency Credits cost?

Advanced Opportunities offers Technical Competency Credits to students at $10 per credit. These are LOW COST credits that can be earned while still in high school!

For the 2017-2018 school year this is a cost savings to students of $303 per credit.

How do you transcribe your credits?

If Technical Competency Credits are offered at your school, you will be able to request credit once you have finished your high school CTE course, enroll at Lewis-Clark State College, fill out Technical Competency Credit application, and pay the $10 per credit fee. Click here for more detailed info!
