If a student wants to expunge an entire
semester of poor grades, he/she may petition for academic
forgiveness.
-
This
requires that a minimum of 5 years have elapsed since
the work to be forgiven was completed.
-
The
student must petition, return, and earn at least 24
credits with a minimum GPA of 2.25.
-
Only an
entire term can be forgiven (not individual courses).
-
Student
loses credit for all forgiven courses and the forgiven
grade points are figured back in when calculating
graduation honors.
