THE ADVISING PROCESS
This is the generally accepted definition of what occurs in an
advising appointment. These five things occur in this order, and are
also arranged in order of importance.
1. Exploration of Life Goals
2. Exploration of Career/Educational Goals
3. Selection of Educational Program
4. Selection of Courses
5. Scheduling of Classes
