Competency Credits

  • Competency credits can be earned in sequential courses (e.g. SPAN 101, 102, 201, and 202).

  • If a student completes a higher level course with a grade of C or better (202), then all lower courses/credits in the sequence (101, 102, 201) are "transcripted" in the same term free of charge.

  • These credits DO NOT count toward financial aid The student must be degree-seeking.

  • Competency credits are graded with a P (pass) grade only.
