Selecting Courses for
You can select courses prior
to registering. We call this selecting your "Preferred
Sections". It is sort of like putting classes in
a shopping cart. The seats in the courses you
pre-select will not be reserved for you, but this
will make it easier and quicker for you to locate
your preferences later. Remember, you will need to
speak with your advisor before you will be
"released" to register. This is true the first time
you register and each semester until you graduate.
It is critically important that you prepare for
your appointment with your advisor ahead of time and
be prepared with a list of courses you wish to take
as well as any questions you may wish to ask.
Under the “Registration” section select
“Register for Sections”. Next select “Search
and Register for Sections” (later...once
classes are in your Preferred Sections, you will
select "Register for previously selected sections").
