Lewis-Clark Service Corps operates as an outreach program.  It provides tutors and mentors to targeted Idaho schools and other institutions, helping  students to successfully deal with the challenges of staying in or returning to school and planning for their future.

Take a look at our Host Sites for the 2007 - 2008 program year and take a look at the Site Map to view the location of these sites.

Members provide:

  • Academic tutoring
  • Teacher support
  • Career counseling
  • Academic advising
  • Support services to target populations
  • Opportunities for students to participate in community service activities, which allows both students and members to learn how to build strong communities

Following successful completion of service, members are eligible to receive an education award that covers the cost of some educational expenses such as tuition, books or to help repay outstanding student loans.
