The meeting was called to
order at 4:30 p.m.

Student Government Advisor

Judicial Communications
■ Associate Justice Vaughan- Publicly
apologized for the mistakes that were made during the debates last week. Advised
that many of the mistakes that were made were due to lack of knowledge and the
issues will be resolved before the next set of debates tomorrow. Posters for
the barbeque are up. Senator Smith advised that the posters in the SUB weren’t
date stamped and may be taken back down.
Committee Reports
Graduation Banquet: Myndie reported that they met last week and decided on the format for
the tickets. Tickets will not be printed until Friday so the tickets will not
be available until next week. Barbeque tickets are available.
Faculty Association: Senator Hanson reported that they met last Thursday
and conducted routine business. Mainly addressed the Involuntary Withdrawal
Policy which has been placed on the round table in the office.
Ethics: Senator
Bybee asked they think about meeting for stipends. Myndie advised that the
stipends need to be approved by the 14th of April. Discussed someone
to replace former Senator Ramirez on the committee.

Senate Information Reports

O’Harra reported that there will be a Technology Fair on campus in April 15.
Will be located in the WCC starting at 10 am. There will be area technology
businesses and many grab bags. ISA will be there and will be servicing
computers and there is a graphic design contest.
■ Ernie
Williams: reported that it has come to his attention that there has been some
damage to some of the election posters around the campus. Asked that they keep
an eye open and be adult about this election.
■ Motion
for executive session Senator Smith, second Senator Rawson, to talk about the
debate. Invited all of Student Government including the Judicial Branch and
election board and Ernie Williams. Unanimous.
Went into Executive Session at 4:40 p.m.
Meeting resumed at 4:46 pm.
Senate Secretary Myndie VanHorn not invited back to
meeting.

Sherpa advised the group they are looking for fall orientation assistants.
