Mr. Magruder - Announcement - the SUB sub-committee is meeting in SUB 225 tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. He circulated the College Bulletin for Union Buildings. U of I is on the front and NIC is also within the bulletin. Hopefully we will get our picture in there some day. He attended a Strategic Planning meeting and was fascinated with the fact sheet. He shared some of them with the Senate such as student demographics. This fact sheet will be made available if you would like it. Also, Mr. Magruder echoed Dr. Meier's comments on the Craft Fair. Job well done.

The proposed honors policy will be passed through Student Affairs and then go to the Faculty Senate. They will be moving Senior Test Day to the end of finals week and keeping Reading Day the same. Senator Heath stated that she had some Education students talked to her about problems with the Pilot Education Program. She will do an informal survey to see if there are more students who were unhappy with the pilot program before continuing with the issue. There was some discussion and clarification regarding the Class Absence Request Form. There will be two check boxes for the faculty signature, one for approval of the request and one for not approving the request.

Craft Fair - Vice President Sonnen reported. There will be some follow-up regarding some comments and suggestions received while interviewing vendors. Some of the vendors would like to use the SUB again next year and want to make a confirmation now for next year.
