President Bloomsburg- Announced that he would like to send Matt Smith and Brock Astle to the DC Summit. The money was awarded ($4500) to the ASLCSC to go. Hoping to send one more person. Myndie will be looking into prices. If there is one more person allowed to go, Majority Leader Ojeda will make that determination. (March 9-11). The person will be determined by time in Student Government and the representative will have to be coming back to Student Government next year. Advised that he will be gone next week for SBOE. Thursday is the SCE Ad Hoc meeting after Roundtable. If anyone has any recommendations they should come to the meeting. Received the fee increase proposal from Administration yesterday. They are proposing a 5% increase ($97.50) none of this raise will be going to student activities, technology or facilities. The increase would go only to tuition. The Student Fee Hearing is scheduled for noon in the Library TCC on the 28th. Student Government won’t be going into the meeting with a counter offer, will listen to the students first.

Vice-President Smith- Trudy will be looking at the Tennis Center line item, it may be quite a problem to separate it out of the SUB budget. Also talked to her about the Student Activities fees that go to the Tennis Center, she was not very familiar with this issue but will be looking into it. Presented the budget. If you have questions get with VP Smith or one of the Finance Committee members. Reminded the group that it is their responsibility to remain impartial in the Co-Curricular and Non-Curricular decisions. Grad Committee met today, pleased at the progress the committee has made. CDA Video Conference for next Thursday, looks like it will have to be moved as there is not a dedicated line in this building. Will have to advertise the meeting, will get with Pasang to make those arrangements. Still waiting on information from Lawrence Norris. Went through and updated the Bylaws, the table of contents will have to be amended due to the changes that were made, will have to be brought to Ways & Means.

Committees Director Gray- Would like the new Senators to meet with him right after this meeting to go over committees.

Media Relations Director Sherpa- There are questions in your mailboxes for the Student Government members who have not been in the paper.

Judicial Communications

Chief Justice Vaughan- Will have a meeting next week to discuss where they are at for the elections. Reminded the Senators who want to return next year to fill out packets and return them to the office. Be sure to read the election code, its very important.

Committee Reports

Curriculum Committee: Senator Frei reported that there wasn’t really anything new. Brought up the KIN 160 classes, there is a question on how many you can use for your electives, as this varies according to the major. If anyone has any input let Senator Frei know.

Book Exchange: Senator Astle reported that the left over books were donated today.

VP Smith advised that he was informed that the Technical Professors were really good at informing the students that there were Senate openings.
