Senate Resolution #00-F005

Whereas: Both the State Board of Education and LCSC
have worked to
improve core education for Technical Students on the LCSC
campus. Technical Students feel as though there needs to
be
practical application skills taught within these core classes.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASLCSC SENATE:
Section 1: The ASLCSC support the efforts of the Technical
Students with
their endeavors to create a career acquiring core education.
Section 2: The vo-tech. education addresses skills
to acquire a career, within
their core education.
Section 3: The ASLCSC support Kevin L. Dodge and the
rest of the vo-tech.
students in their assessment of the necessary structure for vo-tech.
core classes. See attached.
Section 4: This resolution will pass upon a two-thirds (2/3)
vote of the
ASLCSC Senate and the signature of the ASLCSC President
