Senate Resolution #01-S016

WHERE AS: The current ASLCSC constitution states:
Section 2. Membership
Membership shall consist of all students who are enrolled for
one
(1) or more credits at Lewis-Clark State College on the Lewiston
Campus.
Students from Extended Programs currently are not members
Of the ASLCSC delegation although many of the issues that
The governmental members address affect students in Extended
Programs.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASLCSC SENATE:
Section 1: The constitution be changed to include any student
who is
registered for (1) one or more credits at Lewis-Clark State
College.
Section 2: The proposed constitutional change will be placed on
the Election
ballot this year and be ratified by a majority of the votes
cast.
Section 3: This resolution will pass upon a two-thirds (2/3)
vote of the
ASLCSC Senate and the signature of the ASLCSC President.
