10 Whereas: In previous years there have been resolutions to get the radio station up

11 and going, since it is important for campus wide activities and a means

12 of communications. The radio station is so close to up and running, and

13 it would be at least a year before we could get another license.

18 Whereas: There is no guarantee that we will even get another license, and

19 it would be disappointing to have to start over.

25 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASLCSC SENATE:

27 Section 1: The 2006-2007 student Senate recommends that the license for

28 the radio station is not sold and we finish what we have to do to

29 get the radio station on the air. Also, that that the radio club and

30 their advisor pursue an extension on the dead line set forth by the

31 FCC.

33 Section 2: This Resolution will pass by a two-thirds (2/3) majority vote of the

34 ASLCSC Senate and the signature of the ASLCSC President.
