Whereas:
Faculty salaries are not competitive with other similarly
situated
Institutions of higher education in the United States. Students
of LCSC
suffer from the loss of quality faculty who leave Idaho to earn
higher
salaries.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASLCSC SENATE:
Section 1: The Students of LCSC feel that there needs to be a
task force
created to asses the competitive salary issue.
Section 2: The students of LCSC are committed to assist the task
force with
students associated issues of the non-competitive salaries for
faculty in the State of Idaho
Section 3: This resolution will pass upon a two-thirds (2/3)
vote of the
ASLCSC Senate and the signature of the ASLCSC President
