Whereas:  There is a campus use policy for the reservation of rooms upon campus.
                LCSC is governed by a "public use policy" that is mandated through the
                state due to the nature of the college.  Attached is a copy of the policy
                that is currently used when addressing public use of facilities.  
                Student organizations at LCSC have a unique opportunity to use
                facilities to  promote student activities and fund raising opportunities. 
                Students have attempted to use buildings mandated by this policy
                with no wirtten understanding of why they are unable to use the
                building.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASLCSC SENATE:

Section 1: The attached policy for Room Rental / Rate Schedule be adhered to by
                all departments.

Section 2: If the need arises that a building should have special accommodations
                or requirements this be in the written form of a policy that is placed
                in the policy and procedures manual of the Lewis-Clark State
                College.

Section 3: This resolution will pass upon a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the
                ASLCSC Senate and the signature of the ASLCSC President
