10 Whereas:
Midterm grade notices are useful for students and advisors in making
11 decisions that affect the student’s educational
success, i.e. engaging a
12 tutor, withdrawing from a
class, changing majors.

14 Whereas: Midterm grade notices are required by many of the programs that LCSC
15 students use to fund their educations.

17 Whereas: Many professors distribute midterm grade notices as a courtesy to
18 their students, for which the students are grateful.

Whereas:
Professors have the technological capability to post and distribute
22 requirements.

24 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASLCSC SENATE:

1: That the student government would like to express its opinion that the
27 posting of midterm grade
notices for all students should be made
28
mandatory.

2: That said posting should be done via Warrior Web, and that doing so
31
will ensure timely dissemination of midterm grade notices while
32 addressing
privacy and security issues.

Section 3: This resolution will pass upon a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the
ASLCSC
35 Senate and the
signature of the ASLCSC President.
