10 Whereas: The Learning Resource Center is funded by Professional-Technical

11 grant funds.

13 Whereas: The Learning Resource Center is regularly filled to capacity.

15 Whereas: The Learning Resource Center will have to turn away students this

16 semester, beginning with International and then Academic students.

18 Whereas: Other resources for student use are insufficient and inadequate to

19 accommodate the total student, Academic and Professional-Technical,

20 needs for tutors and computers.

22 Whereas: This is a problem that can and should be fixed by Lewis-Clark State

23 College.

25 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASLCSC SENATE:

27 Section 1: That Lewis-Clark State College step-up with funding for sufficient

28 computers, tutors, and labs for all students, Academic and

29 Professional-Technical, to utilize as needed here on campus.

32 Section 2: This resolution will pass upon a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the

33 ASLCSC Senate and the signature of the ASLCSC President.
