L-C Rolls, 19-5
LEWISTON,ID--Lewis-Clark State College plated eight runs in the fourth inning en route to a 19-5 victory over Western Baptist College, Saturday afternoon, at Harris Field, in game one of a doubleheader.
Brendan Ryan went 4-for-6 with four RBI and four runs scored to lead Lewis-Clark State (22-10). Emerson Frostad went 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBI, coming in as a reserve at first base. Ryan Heitmann (1-1) picked up the win in relief, hurling five innings of one-hit ball and striking out two batters. He has yet to walk a batter in 15.1 innings.
Beau Batsell collected two of Western Baptistís (15-13) five hits. Rich White (1-5) was roughed up in three innings of work, giving up six earned runs and seven hits.
After Western scored a run in the top of the first, LCSC answered with three runs in the bottom of the frame. Micah Furtado led off the inning with a triple to left center, and was then singled home by the next batter, Ryan. David Bernstine doubled home Ryan, and then scored from third as Nick Walkerís ball to third was booted.
Ryan widened the gap with a two-run blast, his third of the season, to 5-1.
In the third inning, Western Baptist scored four runs in the top of the fourth to tie the game at five. Micah Mills hit a bases loaded single, scoring one run Two batters later, Rusty Johnston hit a two-run single to left to knot the score. The LCSC Warriors countered with two more in the bottom half, led by Gabe Stajduharís double to left center, scoring Tory Haven, who singled to leadoff the inning, extending his hitting streak to 17 games.

Warriors. Walker led the offensive attack in that inning, hitting his first home
run of the season, a two-run shot off of reliever Bryan Edwards.
