Lewiston, ID-Lewis-Clark State College third baseman Nick Walker (Tacoma, WA/Tacoma CC) was named NAIA Region I Player of the Week, Monday, April 8, 2002.

Walker batted .600 (6-10) in three games against Western Baptist College this past weekend. He scored four runs, hit a double, and two homers last weekend. In last Saturday’s doubleheader, Walker went 4-for-6 and hit his first two home runs of the year, and collected four RBI.

On the season, Walker is batting .368 with two home runs and 11 RBI.
