Cheff Elected to Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame

Ed Cheff, the Head Baseball Coach at Lewis-Clark State College has been elected for induction into the American Baseball Coaches Association’s Hall of Fame early next year.

The induction ceremony will take place January 5-8, 2006 at the ABCA’s convention in Chicago, Illinois.  The presentation will be at the Hall of Fame/Coach of the Year Banquet, which will be held the evening of Friday, January 6, 2006.

Cheff is entering his 29^th season at LCSC and has amassed an amazing 1,407 wins during his tenure, including 13 national championships in the last 21 years.

He was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1994 and has won their Coach of the Year award seven times.
