2005: During 24.2 innings of mostly relief work (only 1 game started), Garcia posted a 2.19 ERA, a 3-0 record, and 2 saves.  

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played at Columbia Basin CC (WA)...did not give up an earned run in his freshman season...was a 2nd Team WAACC selection in his freshman and sophomore seasons.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Lindbergh High School (WA) in 2002...was a First Team selection at shortstop in his junior and senior seasons, while also being selected to the First Team as a pitcher in his senior season...was selected to the 2nd Team as a sophomore.

PERSONAL: Born July 30, 1984 in Redmond, WA to John and Lori Garcia...has one brother, Bobby...an Arts and Science Management Major.
