HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Kamiakin High School and earned three varsity letters in basketball and two in baseball there. Martin has a vast number of accomplishments in both baseball and basketball. During his senior year playing basketball he was awarded the Joe Redden Award (most inspirational athlete), selected first team All-Conference, was his team's MVP, and was runner-up for league MVP award. In baseball, during his senior year, he batted .417 and was named first team All-Conference, and second team All-State. During the summer of his senior year he led the Twin-City Titans to a second place finish at the World Series in Rapid City, South Dakota. During this series he was a part of the all-tournament team outfield, and led the series in hits and runs scored. PERSONAL: Born February 28, 1987 in Richland, WA, Paul Martin is the son of Wayne and Merri Martin. He has one sister, Lyndsey, and enjoys fishing, hunting, and drawing. Martin is currently pursuing a degree in biology. |
