Mark Thompson   5-9/160 Junior OF   Santa Clara, CA   Edmonds C.C.

COLLEGE: Played two years at second base for Edmonds Community College and head coach Tighe Dickenson. During his sophomore year he was a first team INF North Region selection, an All-NWAACC North Region All-star, and a member of the All-NWAACC team.  In 2005 he hit .335 with 32 rbi's and 26 stolen bases.   

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Woodinville High School in 2003. While at Woodinville, Thompson received three varsity letters in football and two in baseball. In baseball he was selected to the all-league first team in both his junior and senior year. During his senior year he hit .409 and was awarded the title of All-Eastside at second base. 

PERSONAL: Born November 26, 1984 in Santa Clara, CA, Mark Anthony Thompson Jr. is the son of Mark A. Thompson Sr. and Corrine Rogers. He has a brother, Mathew, and a sister, Jessica. A big Giants and 49ers fan, Thompson enjoys watching football every Sunday, and playing sports. He is currently seeking a degree in kinesiology.
