LCSC: Missed all of last year with injury problems, which have plagued him throughout his career. Saw action in only one game in 2004 and 2005 because of injuries. He started off his LCSC career in 2003 by hitting .276.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Dallas High in Dallas, Ore., where he lettered three years in baseball, four years in wrestling, and two years in football. He served as captain on all three squads as a senior and also was each team’s MVP. He was both all-state and all-league selections in baseball his final two years. He had a career batting average of .500 in high school and also won a state wrestling title his senior year.

PERSONAL: Born June 10, 1984 to Jim and Mary Beth Briggs. He is a Criminal Justice major at LCSC.
