JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played last season at Blue Mountain Community College where he was one of the team’s top pitchers.

HIGH SCHOOL: He earned two varsity letters while playing baseball at Solotna High School in Alaska, where he played both first base and pitched. He also played two seasons of American Legion baseball in the summer for the Kenai Peninsula Twins and had an earned run average of 2.70 for the two years. .

PERSONAL: He was born on Feb. 15, 1988 in Soldotna, Alaska, to Rodney and Beth Mabeus. He has big shoes to fill as his brother Chris Mabeus was an outstanding pitcher for the Warriors, finishing his LCSC career in 2001 before starting his pro career. He has another brother, Brad, and a sister, Mandy. He is majoring in Engineering at LCSC.
