COLLEGE:
A complete player, Beau comes to LCSC after two years at Fresno
State University. Last season, he started 51 of 52 games and hit
.355 with 58 RBI, 20 doubles and 14 home runs. He led the team in
hits, doubles and RBI and tied for the lead in home runs.
HIGH SCHOOL:
He had an outstanding career at Golden West High in Visalia, Calif.,
where he earned three letters in baseball, playing both third base
and shortstop. He was the team’s captain his senior year. He was the
team’s Rookie of the Year as a sophomore and then the Offensive
Player of the Year as a junior. He was the Varsity Player of the
Year as a senior and earned national recognition. His team went 23-6
and won the league title.
PERSONAL:
Born on Aug. 15, 1986 to Brad and Ronde Mills. His dad played
baseball at the University of Arizona and in the Majors, and now the
bench coach for the Boston Red Sox. Brad was a roommate of Boston
manager Terry Francona at Arizona. Beau has two sisters, Rochelle
and Taylor. He lists fishing, hunting and poker as his hobbies, and
is majoring in Criminal Justice at LCSC.
