He enjoyed a solid first year in
the program last year by starting in 37 games, sixth most on the
team. He finished with a .244 batting average and was a perfect
1-for-1 as a pinch-hitter.
JUNIOR
COLLEGE: He came to LCSC
from Columbia Basin Community College where he earned second-team
all-conference honors both seasons and also was named to the
all-tournament team. In 2005, he hit .319 with 34 RBI and eight
stolen bases.
HIGH SCHOOL: He graduated
from Flathead High School in 2003. School did not have baseball, but
he did receive two varsity letters in basketball and football. Had a
successful American Legion baseball career.
PERSONAL:
Born May 1, 1985 in
Kalispell, Mont., to John and Karen Roehl. Jesse’s hobbies include
fishing, playing any kind of sport, camping, and wakeboard/tubing.
Roehl has two brothers, Hunter and Austin, and is majoring in
Secondary Education/Kinesiology.
