HIGH SCHOOL:
Was an all-around athlete at Plains High, earning four letters in
football, basketball and track. He was a tight end and defensive end
in football, where he was captain of the team as a sophomore and
senior; played center on the basketball team where he was captain
his final three years, and was a thrower in track and captain his
final two years. He earned all-conference honors four straight years
in football and was the state MVP his senior year in basketball
after leading the team in scoring and rebounding. In track, he won
the state discus title and was third in the javelin. Earned
all-conference and all-state honors in track and basketball all four
years as well.
PERSONAL:
Born Jan. 25, 1988 to David and Sandy Thompson in Missoula, Mont. He
has three brothers, Mitch, Trent and Jeremy, and three sisters, Tia,
Leah and Jessica. His father played college baseball at North Idaho
College and Eastern Oregon, while his uncle, Wayne Baker, played
football for the Raiders, Seahawks and 49ers of the NFL. Brandon
enjoys hunting and fishing. He is majoring in Kinesiology.
