2 in NAIA poll

The Lewis-Clark State
College baseball team held
down the No. 2 spot for the
fourth straight week in the
National Association of
Intercollegiate Athletics
Baseball Coaches’ Top 25
poll, which was released on
Wednesday.
Despite having its 38-game
win streak snapped last
week, Lubbock Christian
remained the No. 1 team with
19 first-place votes and 499
points. LCSC received the
only other first-place vote
and had 480 points.
The top five teams remained
the same as Lee was No. 3,
Oklahoma City was No. 4 and
Azusa Pacific was No. 5.
This poll showed no new
teams since last week. In
addition, no program moved
more than two spots in the
poll.
The ninth and final regular
season poll will be released
on next Wednesday.
