LCSC’s Hardy is Region I
Pitcher of the Week
Lewis-Clark
State College’s Blaine Hardy
has been named the NAIA’s
Region I Pitcher of the Week
for his performance last
week against Concordia.
Hardy, a 6-foot-2 junior
from Shoreline, Wash.,
helped the Warriors to a 5-4
10-inning win over Concordia
last Tuesday. He pitched the
final 7.1 innings and
allowed only three hits. He
didn’t give up a run and
struck out 11 to earn the
win.
Hardy is 5-1 on the season
with a 2.08 earned run
average. He has appeared in
nine games, four of which he
started. He’s thrown 39
innings, allowed 36 hits,
nine earned runs and five
walks, with 32 strikeouts.
The Warriors, 28-2 overall,
will put their 22-game win
streak on the line Friday
when they trek to St.
George, Utah to face Dixie
State in a three-game
series. Game times are 5
p.m. on Friday, 4 p.m. on
Saturday and 11 a.m. on
Sunday.
