Ring ceremony for 2007 Warrior baseball team is Feb. 2

Members of the 2007 Lewis-Clark State College baseball team will receive their World Series rings during the LCSC Ring Ceremony Dinner, which will be held Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. on the LCSC campus. 

Tickets for the event are $15 and can be purchased at the LCSC athletic department office on the main floor, or by calling Jasmine King at 792-2275. 

Last year’s team won the program’s 15th national Avista NAIA World Series title by going undefeated in the 10-team double-elimination tournament. LCSC, which finished 58-5 overall, outscored its five series opponents 43-17 

It was the Warriors’ fifth title of the decade and marked the 19th time in the last 26 years the Warriors have played in the national championship game. 

A program record eight players were drafted from last year’s team and several of those players, including Beau Mills, Mark Thompson and Chris Kissock, are expected to be in attendance.
