LCSC:
Redshirted
last season after suffering early-season injury. He saw action in
seven games and started two before injury and hit .400 with a home
run and four RBI.
In 2006, he played in 34
games and started 27. Hit .287 on the season (31-of-108) with 18
runs, five home runs and 23 RBI. Didn’t commit an error in 2006 and
was 6-for-10 at the plate with two outs and runners on third base.
Hit .347 off right-handed pitchers.
JUNIOR COLLEGE:
Played first base at Everett Community College and was the team
captain his sophomore year when he was named second-team all-league.
In 2005, he hit .353 with 32 RBI, two doubles and four home runs.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated from Monroe High School in 2003 where he earned three
letters in baseball. He was the team captain his senior year and a
member of the 4A Wesco North All-Star team.
PERSONAL:
He was born April 26, 1985 in Kirkland, Wash., to Dave and Jan Adam.
His hobbies include cars, lifting weights, and baseball. He has one
sister, Jessie. Zach is pursuing a degree in Engineering.
