HIGH SCHOOL:
Earned two varsity letters at Lewiston High playing for former
Warrior Tom Grunenfelder. Was an infielder and also pitched. The
Bengals won the 5A state title his junior year when he earned
second-team all league honors as a designated hitter. The team
finished second at state in 2007 when he batted .512 and earned
first-team all-Inland Empire League honors as a DH. Also carried a
3.20 GPA in high school.
PERSONAL:
Born May 15, 1989 to Mitch and Kathy Carson in Lewiston. His older
brother, Tyler, is a catcher with the Warriors. Adam also played for
the Lewis-Clark Twins American Legion team, which finished second at
state two years ago and then won the title and finish second at
regionals last summer. Hobbies are hunting and fishing. Adam is
majoring in Computer Science.
