JUNIOR COLLEGE: Signed with the University of Portland, but then transferred to play his sophomore year at Bellevue Community College for coach Mark Yoshino.  He went 1-0 with 11 innings pitched and did not allow an earned run. He gave up five hits and one walk and struck out nine. All nine of his appearances were in relief and he earned three saves.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Edmonds Woodway High and earned two letters in tennis and three in baseball where he played first base, outfield, and pitcher. Was an honorable mention all-league selection as a junior, and then was a second-team all-state selection as an outfielder and honorable mention choice as a pitcher.

PERSONAL: Born March 14, 1987 to Dave and Susette Hardy. Is an only child. Lists his hobbies as sports, video games, card games, snowboarding, and skiing. Is majoring in Business Administration.
