HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended Beaverton High and graduated last summer. Played four
seasons on the baseball team as a shortstop and third baseman, and
also played three seasons on the football team as a quarterback and
safety. In baseball, he was a three-year first-team All-Metro
selection. He earned first-team all-state honors as a senior and
honorable mention honors as a junior. Was the team captain and MVP
both seasons and also played in the Oregon-Washington All-Star Game
as a senior. In football he was the starting safety as a junior and
helped the team to the second round of the playoffs. Played
quarterback his senior year and led the league in passing yards and
touchdowns. He also played basketball as a freshman. He also was the
Junior Class President and served on the DECA Board.
PERSONAL:
Born Sept. 12, 1988 to Jim and Connie Potter. He has one sister,
Jordan. Lists hanging out with friends, video games, rollerblading,
ping pong, fishing and golf as his hobbies. Is majoring in Sports
Administration at LCSC.
