The Lewis-Clark State College baseball program has announced another schedule change for this week as wet weather in Salem, Ore., has forced the three-game Corban-LCSC series to be moved to Lewiston this weekend.
The teams were scheduled to play at Corban on Friday and Saturday, but Corban doesn’t have a tarp to cover its field and the wet weather in the area – and more in the forecast for this week – is expected to make field conditions unplayable.
Instead, the two teams will now play a single game at 5 p.m. on Friday at LCSC’s Harris Field and then play a doubleheader on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Also, the three-game series that was scheduled for Lewiston on March 27-28 will now be played at Salem. The team will meet in a 1 p.m. game on March 27 and an 11 a.m. doubleheader on March 28.
Earlier Monday, LCSC officials announced that Wednesday’s game between Gonzaga and LCSC has been moved to 4 p.m. at Harris Field.
