High school baseball accolades include being named first-team all-league two years, earning the Newcomer of the Year award, and being named team captain twice. Also earned two varsity letters in basketball and was team captain his senior year.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 5, 1989. Parents are Cory and Debbie Bridges. Has one sister, Kelli. Hobbies include hunting, four-wheeling, fishing, and basketball. Grandfather, Rocky Bridges, played pro baseball.
