LCSC: Redshirted last season after having surgery.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Pitched and played in the outfield at Golden West JC and served as a team captain as a sophomore.  He was a first-team all-league selection both years.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Villa Park High in Orange County and played both baseball and football. He was a pitcher and outfielder and earned three letters in baseball, and was a defensive end on the football team. He earned second-team all-league honors in baseball as a junior and was a first-team all-league selection as a senior.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 12, 1987 to Jeff and Renee Cruikshank. Has one brother, Matthew, and two sisters, Michelle and Krystin. He’s coming off a serious elbow injury. Is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology.
