LCSC: Saw plenty of playing time because of injuries to other infielder. Played in 37 games and started 27 last year. The 27 starts tied for the sixth highest on the team. Saw action in one Avista NAIA World Series game as a pinch-runner and scored a run. Best game of the season came on April 25 when he hit a home run and drove in five runs in an 18-4 win over British Columbia.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played two seasons as a shortstop for Glendale Community College for coaches Dave Grant and Paul Hatcher. Hit .330 with 57 hits, 14 doubles, two home runs, and 10 stolen bases as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters in baseball at Alhambra High School as a pitcher and shortstop for coach Ron Scott. Was named to the first-team all-region as a sophomore and junior, and was on the all-conference team as a senior.

PERSONAL: Was born March 18, 1986 to parents Jose and Nelly Anguiano. Has two brothers, Luis and Ricardo, and one sister, Martha. Hobbies are traveling, playing basketball, river trips, and playing sports. He is pursuing a degree in Sports Administration.
