Started at second base in 2008 but also saw time at shortstop and third. Was only one of four players to see action in at least 60 games and started 58, which was third most on the team. His 13 doubles ranked fifth and he also was fifth on the team in stolen bases with four. Got off to a bit of a slow start at the plate, but then got hot on the team’s road trip to Dixie State with back-to-back 3-for-4 efforts at the plate, driving in four runs in the second game. Had a season-high five RBI and hit his only home run, a three-run shot in a 14-0 win over Whitworth. He finished with four games of three or more RBI and had a hit or scored a run in all six games of the Avista NAIA World Series.

In baseball, he was a first-team all-King County choice and a second-team all-state selection both his junior and senior seasons. He also hit .500 as a sophomore and again earned all-King County honors. During junior year, he was named the MVP of the Northwest Baseball Tournament.
