HIGH SCHOOL: Attended St. Thomas of Villanova in Windsor, Ontario where he graduated in 2009. He played third base for three seasons on the baseball team and also was a right wing on the hockey team for two years. He was a middle blocker on the volleyball team also for two seasons. In one baseball game, he hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning in the semifinals of a big tournament to put his team in the championship game. He was a member of the Windsor Selects, North Central Florida Baseball Stars, U.S. Baseball Stars Collegiate Team, the Riverside Royals, and the winning team of the Ontario Summer Games.

PERSONAL: Born on Jan. 29, 1991. Parents are Laszlo and Paula Horvath. He has one brother Trisztan. He prefers to go by Laz. Lists his hobbies as hockey, PlayStation3, and golfing. Is a Kinesiology major.
