COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Ohlone Junior College in the San Francisco Bay area. He was a two-year starter at catcher and was voted first-team All-Coast Conference both seasons. He was selected to play in the California Community College All-Star Game. During his sophomore season, he hit .326 with 12 doubles and three triples. He drove in 16 runs and stole 17 bases.  He first signed with the University of Nevada out of high school but transferred to Ohlone after his first semester.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from West High School in Tracy, Calif., in 2007.

PERSONAL: Born on Oct. 26, 1988. Parents are Dana and Debbie and he has one brother, Daniel, and three sisters, Kiki, Andrea, and Whittney. Lists his hobbies as martial arts and weightlifting. He is a Business Administration major.
