LCSC: Had both a
great start and finish to
2009, but missed nearly
two-thirds of the season
with a hip flexor and other
injuries. He came back in
time to be the club’s
starting shortstop for the
Avista NAIA World Series and
earned the tournament’s Gold
Glove Award for his
outstanding defensive play.
Despite playing in only 20
of 55 games, he still led
the team in hitting at .438
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played
shortstop and batted .284
(33-for-116) with five home
runs, five doubles, a
triple, 26 RBI, and 11
stolen bases in 13 attempts
for Tacoma Community College
in 2008. In 2007, he hit
.268 with two home runs, 11
doubles, two triples, 21
RBI, and 15 stolen bases in
19 attempts. He earned
second-team west region
NWACCS honors during both
years.

the all-city team and the

Mother is Elaine Muecklisch.
His father, Bobby Joe
Edmonds Jr., played in the
Phillies organization and
later in the NFL for five
seasons. His grandfather,
Bobby Joe Edmonds Sr.,
played in the ABA. Hobbies
include baseball and playing
all sports.
