The Lewis-Clark State College baseball team will play Corban College at approximately 5 p.m. in a single game on Saturday at Linfield College in McMinville, Ore., but the remainder of the four-game series is tentative.
LCSC and Corban will play at Linfield, which has an artificial turf infield, following a doubleheader at noon between Oregon Tech at Linfield.
LCSC and Corban will then attempt to play a doubleheader on Sunday at Linfield, at a time to be determined. The series will conclude on Monday, also at Linfield at a time to be determined. Monday could also be a doubleheader if weather postpones any of the first three games.
The two teams were originally scheduled to play doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday in Lewiston, but both snow and cold weather forced the games to be moved.
The weather forecast at noon on Friday called for temperatures in the low 40s on Saturday in McMinnville, and then in the higher 40s with a 50 percent change of rain on Sunday and an 80 percent chance of rain on Monday.
Corban’s field is currently unplayable because of the rain and snow that hit the Salem, Ore., area earlier this week.
