The Avista NAIA World Series contest scheduled for Thursday night between Lubbock Christian University and Lee University has been called off because of wet weather and field conditions at Lewis-Clark State College’s Harris Field, the games committee for the Series has announced.
The contest will now be played at 1 p.m. on Friday with the winner of that contest playing at Concordia in the national title game at 7:10 p.m. Gates will open at noon on Friday.
Also, Bat Day was postponed as well on Thursday to 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
