Twenty-five Lewis-Clark State College baseball alums are currently playing professional baseball. One is in the big leagues, two are in Triple-A, five are at Double-A, and the rest are playing at various levels of Single-A.
Former Warriors currently enjoying hot streaks include big leaguer Brendan Ryan who is batting .447 over his last ten games, Brian Burke who was named the Appalachian League Player of the Week on Aug. 2, and Stephen Foster who has an ERA of 1.10 in his first 10 games in the minor leagues.
Players who are rising through the ranks include Chris Kissock who made the jump from Single-A to Double-A earlier this season, and Carlos Fisher and Blaine Hardy who have both dominated at Triple-A and are waiting for a call to the majors.
